Amos has presented this case to teens and young adults using the importance of higher education, the need for continuous personal development and the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as his topics of choice because they best leverage his personal experience. For adults, Amos presents these same topics, in addition to presenting and coaching on the importance of financial literacy as well. As a graduate of Howard University, Amos has been asked to deliver the keynote address for several graduation ceremonies, scholarship receptions, and educational summits for youth. These events have included the annual scholarship gala for A Positive Force, Inc., the annual Urban Youth and Higher Education Summit for the School of Urban Missions in Oakland, CA, the Annual Education Night and Scholarship Affair for the California North Central Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.
As someone who battled with childhood obesity for many years, but successfully overcame this monumental life struggle by simply resolving that he was no longer going to accept this reality for his life, Amos has spoken before many audiences about the importance of healthy living, personal development, and spiritual development. Most notably, Amos has been invited to speak on the campus of Howard University for several occasions ranging from prayer breakfasts, to freshman orientation, to awards ceremonies, and the list goes on and on. Additionally, Amos has been invited to speak at several churches across Northern California, and he regularly serves as the keynote assembly speaker at Gerber Jr./Sr. High School in Sacramento, CA. In addition to hosting seminars and workshops, Amos is most often sought after by individuals and organizations to work with them on a one-on-one basis a financial coach where he works tirelessly to help people build wealth and achieve financial independence.
Amos Nugent III has been recognized for his work in the community as an advocate for higher education, public speaker, and financial coach by the Observer Media Group as one of the Sacramento Region’s “30 Under 30” most promising young business leaders. Additionally, he was selected to be in the inaugural class of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP) – an eight-month fellowship sponsored by the Nehemiah Corporation of America, the American Leadership Forum, and the Coro Center for Civic Engagement to promote leadership development among the Sacramento Region’s most talented young professionals.
